Internet Safety Family Night 2/11

Posted Date: 02/05/26 (02:22 PM)

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
The internet is a big part of our children’s lives—and keeping them safe online can feel overwhelming. That’s why the ITMS PTSA is hosting an Internet Safety Family Night designed especially for parents, caregivers, and students.
During this session, you’ll learn:
  • Practical tips for keeping kids safe online
  • How to navigate social media, apps, and gaming platforms
  • Ways to start productive conversations with your children about digital safety
  • Resources you can use at home right away
There will be breakout rooms with trained professionals from Paving the Way Foundation to guide age-appropriate conversations for parents, middle schoolers, and 4th-5th graders. We will have a movie room for children under 4th grade, so bring the whole family--dinner will be provided!
Whether your child is just starting to use devices or is already very tech-savvy, this workshop will offer helpful guidance and peace of mind.
📅 Date: Wednesday, February 11
⏰ Time: 6:00PM
📍 Location: ITMS Media Center
Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly! https://bit.ly/itmsinternetawesome
We hope you’ll join us for this informative and empowering evening. Together, we can help our children build healthy, safe digital habits.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Warm regards,
Lesley Staton
